A pioneer multi – functional boat
By the end of 2023, Barracuda will have completed the construction of a new inflatable vessel with a total length of 12 metres, with high operational capabilities, made of vinylester.
This is essentially a polyester boat with additional variable diameter air chambers (for better aero-hydrodynamics) which, together with the watertight hull compartments which are padded with expanded polystyrene (a lightweight material that does not absorb any moisture), make it an all-weather, Class A, 9+ Beaufort boat.
Propulsion is ensured by two outboard 4-stroke 2x600HP engines, which in turn contribute to the excellent buoyancy of the boat.
At the bow and stern she will carry small water jets and with the use of a joystick she will be able to move sideways or perform a 360° turn.
Below deck there is a cabin with two beds and a toilet.
Most of the passengers will be able to be accommodated inside the boat, and there will be aircraft-style shock-absorbing seats for pilot, co-pilot and passengers, the number of which is proportional to the buyer’s requirements.
The height of the boat externally is low for a low centre of gravity, while internally, taking advantage of the deep V of the hull, the height reaches 2.10 metres.
